City impressions : 1/We selected this hotel because it was slightly off-center from the ultra-touristy center that we wanted to avoid and which remains accessible by the T1 tram which serves the southern European bank of the city. 2/ Key touristic spots can be done in less than few hours ( within a 10 minutes walking distance), 3/ A must visit will be the spice bazar at Eminonu tramway station and the grand bazar that are interconnected through walking Bargain is a must in the grand bazar and start with a 40% to 50% off the price to close a deal, 4/For the northern European bank we took the 72T bus to discover Nisantasi and Sisli, the upscale neighborhoods....a 600m bus platform from the hotel.Go walking through the park and the football stadium to the T1 terminal 5/To eat fresh fried or grilled fish at very reasonable prices, plenty of open-air cafès going up the bridge for 300m coming from Eminonu. 6/A very unique side of Istanbul is the authentic Kadikoy with lovely artsy shops and stunning facades and the best escape from the european side overwhelming traff8c jam and congestion. 7 /Watch out for tourist trap restaurants because they are plentiful : al madina restaurant or taksim square.Outrageous prices in many restaurants in the city average of 40 euros per person.It is cheaper to eat excellent turkish cuisine in Paris London or Berlin and much cheaper than Istanbul. 8/ Do not miss Hafiz Mustapha 1 864 the king of sweets. Try the Dubai zaman, a reinvented version of the oriental mouhalabiyé with a layer of pistachios and kadayif 9/ Cruising the bosphore: make the nost of them...you will truly enjoy the uniqueness of the city.and the cheapest fares ever using the istanbulkart. 10/ Istanbul is a very large city growing rapidly and the ground transportation is excellent but overwhelming all day long. 11/ Visit the Camlica mosquee on the asian side close to uskudar by bus and tramway a 90 minutes trip from the hotel and a beautiful architectural achievement with 6 minarets and a 64000 attendees welcoming capacity. We stayed at Grand Macau Topkapi Hotel and our experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out was genuinely amazing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the hospitality overall was impressive. The room was clean, comfortable, and really well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and everything felt fresh and tidy. We also got the chance to use the pool which was lovely, and we tried the massage service as well, definitely recommended! It was relaxing and truly worth it. Everything was just spot on. We felt taken care of the whole time and really enjoyed our stay. We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Turkey. It made our trip that much better.
Stayed at the Grand Makel as part of surgery package with Memorial Bahçlievler Hospital. Wonderful place to stay. Clean and tidy with a lovely breakfast. The staff were always willing to help, particularly Mahmud. Traveling, and surgery, alone in a foreign country can be daunting but I was always made to feel welcome and comfortable. Great food and coffee options just around the corner. My indulgence in room service the night I was back from hospital was so yum and just what I needed!! Thanks Mahmud for organising my taxis, this girl had places to go!!!

My stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. YusufHan and team at the front desk were incredible and made me feel welcomed from the very first moment. The luggage staff were so helpful, the kitchen staff were wonderful, and housekeeping kept everything spotless and comfortable every day. What truly stood out is how everyone went above and beyond in every possible way, from calling taxis to helping me search for my lost glasses. Every single person had a genuine smile and such a kind heart. The level of hospitality here is truly special and I am so grateful for this experience. Had a really nice time in Istanbul. The hotel experience was great. Room was spacious with the nice view. Above all the staff was amazing. So helpful and every request was greeted with a smile. It’s quite a pleasure to be staying in this hotel clean beautiful and quiet place, the employees are very friendly and welcoming , interacting with one another of them always, he goes by the name Mahmud he’s very friendly and nice charming guy who deserves recognition and respect. The catering staff are amazing though little bit of language barrier but they understand your needs and all the nice food. Very professional run business and my stay was great. The front door service and front desk staff spoke multiple languages and English was good. I was tired and the room service order was good and hot. When I called about more water they rushed the need bottles to my room. Morning breakfast had everything anyone would like. I will definitely recommend and stay on my next visit and holiday!
